Introduction

Introduction to Telegram Mini Apps #

Monetag SDK shows ads in your Telegram Mini App. The following ad formats are available:

  • Rewarded Interstitial: the user chooses to watch an ad and gets a reward from your app.

  • Rewarded Popup: a tap on an element of your app opens the advertiser’s page in a new tab, with no ad in between.

  • In-App Interstitial: a full-screen banner shown at moments you choose, such as app start or a tab switch.

SDK Formats

For instance, in the game, players receive a booster as a reward for watching an ad.

Rewards Confirmed by Monetag #

To reward users, you don’t need to build ad tracking. Monetag confirms ad events and sends postbacks to your server with the result: what happened, whether it was paid (valued or non_valued), the estimated earnings and the ymid you passed to the SDK. Your part is one URL in the Monetag SSP. Failed deliveries are retried for up to about 38 hours.

A reward request sent by your app comes from the user’s device, so it can be forged or lost on the way. A postback comes from Monetag’s server after the event is confirmed. See how postbacks work.

Publishers are paid on a CPM basis. CPM rates are dynamic and can vary from mini-app to mini-app, depending on many factors, such as the countries in which your audience resides, the platforms and devices your users use, the ad placement, and the ad frequency you set. The average CPM rate for the Rewarded Interstitial starts at $2 but depends on the factors listed above. For analytics and authorization in the system, you must first register in the publisher account here.

For now, we have about 200+ integrations.
